Things to do

Merrion-Farm-3829.jpg

The first option you have is to explore the farm... the Griffiths family have farmed the land here for nearly 100 years. There are over 120 dairy cows, with milking twice daily. If you would like to come and see the dairy, we will happily give you an informal tour providing an insight into farming and a chance to meet the animals and see the milking parlour.

The countryside on your doorstep includes fields, brookland, woods and links to plenty of footpaths and bridleways. There's a chance of seeing badgers, barn owls, bats, woodpeckers, deer and a variety of other wildlife. Fishing is available on the river Adur by arrangement.

We are within easy reach of the newly created South Downs National Park, and a short drive to the south coast, so a day out in the stunning countryside is a must - and maybe even a swim!

We are also very easily accessed from the nearby Downs Link National Trail and of course, cyclists and walkers are very welcome
